nearthed Bamboo Slips in Qin Mausoleum which is excavated in Shui Hu Di, Yun Meng County, Hu Bei Province in 1970s，and other related historical documents are applied. The thesis draws a conclusion that the status of "Li Chen Qie" is neither slave nor purely criminal, though they mostly come from criminals. They are subordinate to the state, and must work for the state all their life. So their status is very special. They are the special result of Qin State in particular period.
