(HUVECs) by using RT-PCR, and examined the activation of NF-kappa B in HUVECs. We found that the response of IL-8 gene expression to TNF-alpha was time-dependent, whose time-course was biphasic, up at 1 and 3 hour, down at 6 and 9 hour after TNF-alpha induction. Similar time course was found in the activation of NF-kappa B by TNF-alpha, implying IL-8 gene expression TNF-alpha is related to NF-kappa B. 收起
